Abstract:
A travel energy estimating device according to the present disclosure comprises: a route acquiring unit for acquiring a route comprising road links along which a target vehicle, being an electric automobile, is planning to travel; a route dividing unit for dividing the route into one or more sectors including a speed change expected location at which a traveling speed of the target vehicle is expected to change, each sector comprising one or a plurality of the road links; a speed model acquiring unit for acquiring a speed model representing a transition over time in the traveling speed of the target vehicle, for each sector; and a travel energy estimating unit for estimating travel energy of the target vehicle when traveling along the route, on the basis of the speed models acquired for each sector.
