Abstract:

[Problem] To provide technology that makes it possible to associate vehicle travel information directly after traveling through a branching point with an appropriate road segment. [Solution] A travel information recording system that is provided with: a travel segment identification means that identifies a travel segment that is a road segment on which a vehicle is traveling; and a travel information recording means that associates vehicle travel information relating to an occasion on which the vehicle traveled through the travel segment with said travel segment and stores the result on a storage medium. When a segment change occurs in which the travel segment changes from one of a plurality of road segments that branch from a branching point, the travel information recording means acquires travel information obtained by the segment change being associated with a post-change segment that is the travel segment after the segment change and the result being stored on the basis of the travel information prior to the segment change.
