Abstract:
A travel management device for sensing wrong-direction travel being performed by a moving body along a travel path on which the moving body is currently traveling, the wrong-direction travel being sensed on the basis of a front recognition result indicating display specifics displayed on a sign shown in a front captured image obtained by capturing an image to the front of the moving body, and/or a rear recognition result indicating display specifics displayed on a sign shown in a rear captured image obtained by capturing an image to the rear of the moving body. The travel management device also senses, on the basis of the front recognition result and/or the rear recognition result, the probability that the moving body will perform wrong-way travel in the future along a travel path located further in the direction of travel by the moving body than the travel path on which the moving body is currently traveling.
