Abstract:
In a local cart travel system 101, a frame track 103 includes a first metal rail 11A and a second metal rail 11B arranged in parallel to each other and each having an L-shaped cross section. A local cart 5 is arranged within the frame track 103, includes a first power reception tire 63A and a second power reception tire 65, and travels on a horizontal travel surface of the rails. A voltage application device 81 applies an alternating-current voltage to the travel surface, forms a first capacitor by the first metal rail 11A and the first power reception tire 63, and forms a second capacitor by the second metal rail 11B and the second power reception tire 65. The local cart 5 includes: a power reception device 91 that extracts an alternating-current power; and a travel motor 45 that rectifies and receives the extracted alternating-current power. The frame track 103 includes a connection plate 109, as an electric insulator, that covers a portion of a surface of a vertical wall 107 of each of the first metal rail 11A and the second metal rail 11B.
