Abstract:
A robot R is provided with a pair of crawler devices 2 supported by a body 1. Each crawler device 2 is provided with a crawler unit 3 supported by the body 1 so as to be capable of rotating around a first rotation axis L. The crawler unit 3 has: a support 10 extending along a first rotation axis L1; and a pair of crawler parts 20A, 20B provided to the support 10. Each crawler device 2 has: a rolling drive member 46 coupled to the support 10 of the crawler unit 3; a rolling motor 60 for rotating and driving the rolling drive member 46; a crawler drive shaft 41 extending along the first rotation axis L1 and passing through a gap between the pair of crawler parts 20A, 20B; a crawler motor 50 for rotating and driving the crawler drive shaft 41; and a torque transmission mechanism 42 for transmitting the rotational torque of the crawler drive shaft 41 to the pair of crawler parts 20A, 20B. Similar to the rolling motor 60, the crawler motor 50 is disposed outside the crawler unit 3.
