Abstract:
This traveling device is provided with: a stationary unit formed with a traveling path; a power transmission unit provided in the stationary unit and supplying power; a movable unit capable of traveling along the traveling path; a power receiving unit provided in the movable unit and receiving the power from the power transmission unit in a non-contact manner; a travel driving unit provided in the movable unit and operated by the power received by the power receiving unit to drive the movable unit; an approach sensing unit for sensing that an operator approaches the stationary unit; and a power transmission restriction unit which, when the approach sensing unit senses that the operator approaches the stationary unit, restricts the power supplied by the power transmission unit to a specified level or less.
