Abstract:
Provided are a traveling route generation device and a traveling route generation method that are capable of inhibiting a traveling route from being generated with low interpolation accuracy and generating a traveling route with high interpolation accuracy in a traveling section in which a traveling position cannot be detected, when the traveling route for a vehicle is generated. Provided are a vehicle control device and a vehicle control method that are capable of controlling traveling of a vehicle on the basis of the traveling route as described above. A traveling route generation device (100) and this traveling route generation method are for: comparing two temporally earlier and later traveling positions and two temporally earlier and later traveling azimuths; determining whether or not interpolation is to be performed between the two traveling positions; and generating a traveling route in which interpolation is performed between the two traveling positions determined to be interpolated, when it is determined that interpolation is to be performed.
