Abstract:
To make it possible to reliably prevent travelling vehicles from interfering with each other in a curved section, and to make it possible for a travelling vehicle to efficiently travel in a curved section. A ground controller of a travelling vehicle system records granting a travelling vehicle permission to travel into a curved section, and deletes the travel permission when the travelling vehicle leaves the curved section. Upon receiving a request from a travelling vehicle to travel in a curved section, the ground controller further grants a first travel permission if no other travelling vehicle has already been granted permission, and grants a lower-order travel permission permitting travel at a lower speed than that according to the first travel permission if another vehicle has already been granted permission to travel.
