Abstract:
A tray holding device has left and right frames (10) extending in a front-rear
direction (Y) with a tray lifting space where a tray can be moved up and down secured;
left and right cam plates (20) supported such that they are reciprocatable relative
to the frames in order to move in the front-rear direction to provide a cam effect;
left and right support members (30) supported such that they are reciprocatable
in a left-right direction (X) relative to the frames in order to appear into and
disappear from the tray lifting space by the cam effect of the cam plates, and capable
of supporting and also positioning the tray; and a drive mechanism (40) for driving
the left and right cam plates in an associated manner. The structure of the dray
holding device is simplified and integrated, the installation area for the device
is reduced, and a time required for holding (supporting and positioning) of the
tray is reduced. Trays stored stacked or stacked can be separated and taken out
while thee are being positioned.
