Provided is a tray with which is possible to reduce costs, safely house optical products, and which can be used in a reversible manner by turning the tray upside down. Also provided are a housing structure for optical products and a housing method for optical products. A tray main body (1) is provided with a recess (2) which forms a recess from the upper surface (1a) to the lower surface (1b); a though hole (4) that passes through the upper and lower surfaces within the recess (2) and in which an optical surface (202b) is disposed; a placement part (3) which is formed around the through hole (4) within the recess (2) and on which a flange (201) is placed; an outer periphery holding part (71) that is formed in the inner peripheral surface that forms the recess (2) and which holds the outer peripheral surface (201c) of the flange (201); three or more protrusions (6) that protrude downwards from the lower surface (1b) of the tray main body (1) in the vicinity of the through hole (4); grooves (51a, 51b, 52a, 52b) which are formed in positions corresponding to the protrusions (6) on the outer periphery of the placement part (3), and into which the protrusions (6) of the upper tray (200c) are inserted; and a pressing part (8) which is formed around the periphery of the through hole (4) on the lower surface (1a) of the tray main body (1), and which presses from above the flange (201) of an optical product (200A) housed in the lower tray (100A).
