Abstract:
This invention relates to a tread adaptive sole which comprises of a sole member having a plurality of layers, and further the plurality of layers is divided into a plurality of sections, extending vertically from a top portion to a bottom portion, an insole layer, a midsole layer, and an outsole layer adapted to divide the plurality of layers, and extending vertically from a top portion to a bottom portion, a plurality of contour bars, making a primary cavity with a perpendicular base in the plurality of layers in order to exert the air pressure from a plurality of foot activities of a user via at least one air regulating means between each of the layer, a secondary cavity adapted to cover a remaining space inside the midsole layer and between the insole layer and the outsole layer. The air regulating means adapted to place between each of the cavity for making an air regulating connection inside the midsole layer and the plurality of sections is divided into a heel section, a medial section and a toe section. Furthermore, the plurality of contour bars is positioned longitudinally adjacent to, and substantially coplanar with the secondary cavity in the heel section and the toe section of the sole member and the air regulating means is adapted to connect and regulate the air level inside the primary cavity and the secondary cavity. The air regulating means is facilitated with transversely adjustment between the primary cavity and the secondary cavity for air regulating inside the sole member in the midsole layer by the foot activity of the user.

Claims:
I claim:

1. A tread adaptive sole (100), comprising:

a sole member (135) having a plurality of layers, and further the plurality of layers is divided into a plurality of sections, extending vertically from a top portion to a bottom portion;

an insole layer (150), a midsole layer (145), and an outsole layer (140) adapted to divide the plurality of layers, and extending vertically from a top portion to a bottom portion;

a plurality of contour bars (105), making a primary cavity with a perpendicular base in the plurality of layers in order to exert the air pressure from a plurality of foot activities of a user via at least one air regulating means (110) between each of the layer;

a secondary cavity (115) adapted to cover a remaining space inside the midsole layer (145) and between the insole layer (150) and the outsole layer(140);

wherein the plurality of contour bars (105), propelling the air into the secondary cavity (115) via the air regulating means (110) according to the plurality of foot activities of the user on receiving the related foot pressure;

wherein each of the air regulating means (110) is adapted to place between each of the cavity for making an air regulating connection inside the midsole layer;

wherein the plurality of sections is divided into a heel section (120), a medial section (130) and a toe section (125);

wherein the plurality of contour bars (105) is positioned longitudinally adjacent to, and substantially coplanar with the secondary cavity (115) in the heel section (120) and the toe section (125) of the sole member (135);

wherein the air regulating means (110) is adapted to connect and regulate the air level inside the primary cavity and the secondary cavity (115); and

wherein the air regulating means (110) is facilitated with transversely adjustment between the primary cavity and the secondary cavity (115) for air regulating inside the sole member (135) in the midsole layer (145) by the foot activity of the user.

The sole as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the plurality of contour bars, making the primary cavity with the perpendicular base in the midsole layer (145) in order to exert the air pressure from the plurality of foot activities of the user via the air regulating means (110) between the insole layer (150) and the outsole layer (140).

3. The sole as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the air regulating means (110) regulates the air uniformly inside the plurality of contour bars and further propels to the secondary cavity of the midsole layer (145) according to the foot activity of the user.

4. The sole as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the secondary cavity (115) is arranged along the primary cavity in the midsole layer (145) at the toe section (125) and the heel section (120) via the air regulating means (110).

5. The sole as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the air regulating means (110) is an air level regulating valve.

6. The sole as claimed in claim 5, wherein the air level regulating valve is a pressure responsive valve, actuated by the air pressure generated from the foot activity of the user.

7. The sole as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the medial section (130) of the outsole layer (140) is constructed from an elastic rubber and the like material.

8. The sole as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the heel section (120) and the toe section (125) of the midsole layer are constructed from the material selected from a group of rubber material, resilient material, polyurethane, or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds, an elastomeric compound and a combination thereof.

9. The sole as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the plurality of foot activities includes running, walking, jumping, playing an outdoor sport and the like activities by the user.

Description:
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to the field of the sole having an adaptive characteristic by providing the suitable air pressure inside it. The invention, particularly relates to a tread adaptive sole that provides the air regulating means to fill the appropriate air to make the sole, relevant to the related activity such as walking, running, jumping, mountaineering and the like of the user.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In recent years, the footwear industry has been upcoming with the various designs of the footwear for a particular occasion such as walking, jumping, running, playing some sport and the like. For instance, a sole can be utilized with a better shock absorbing mechanism while using in a long running and further, that shock absorbing mechanism is actuated by a spring-activated cushion in the sole and an air bag or air chamber coupled with the shoe sole. Since every sole is supposed to be designed for related kind of work, if the user is fond of various physical activities such as playing sports, physical exercise, running, jumping and the like, the user needs to have a multiple number of the shoes while doing related activity. The condition to have a variable number of shoes for different activities such as dancing, bowling, sliding, becomes the scenario difficult to select suitable shoe and less economical for the user.

In conventional, the use of athletic shoes comprised of rubber or like material having rubber- elastic properties with some kind of shock absorbing mechanism inside the sole member at the heel point and/or under the ball portion of the foot. Further, the sole of a shoe is comprised of a plurality of air conduits to pass the air inside and/or outside the shoe. These kind of mechanism gives the feckless cushioning effects with no arrangement of apposite air circulations inside the sole of the shoes. There have been a number of solutions provided for converting the sole of the shoes which is to be adapted the related level of the air circulation inside the sole member such that can be used in various activities and few of them have been discussed below: US 6430843 B1 discloses an article of footwear with a dynamically-controlled cushioning system. The cushioning system comprises a fluid-filled bladder having a plurality of separate sealed cushioning chambers and a control system. The control system is comprised of a CPU, pressure sensors and valves. The control system is used to control fluid communication between the chambers to dynamically adjust the pressure in the cushioning chambers for various conditions such as the activity that the footwear is used in, the weight of the individual and the individual's running style. The footwear can adjust the sole according to the need of the user. US 5918381 A pertains a Shoe sole with liquid-powered ventilating fans. The sole of a shoe enables the feet of a user to cool and dehumidify, providing superior comfort to the feet of the person wearing the shoe. The sole comprises two layers, one of which has a liquid-filled area with a liquid powered turbine and the other layer containing a built-in air fan or fans or other turbines, which are powered by the liquid turbine responding to the liquid movement in the outer layer. These two layers are molded or otherwise connected to a shoe sole. The mechanical or magnetic gearing of all the turbines is configured to control the direction of air movement.

US 6134812 A discloses a shoe sole that makes it possible for the forces which are exerted when the foot is placed on the ground to be utilized for aiding the walking action of the user. A first cavity in the heel region with an intermediate pressure-storage space in the ball-of-the-foot region, and a further, third cavity in a space between the sole, the space being located between the ball-of- the-foot region and heel region. A line with a valve connects the second and third cavity, and a line with a valve connects the third and fourth cavities. Line and blocking mechanism connect the third cavity to the outside air and/or the shoe interior. A line and a valve connect the first cavity to the outside air. An outsole is provided beneath the sole.

US 4722131 A relates to an air cushion shoe sole, i.e. molded of elastomeric material and has at least one cavity which in cross-section is substantially rectilinear. The cavity has a plurality of depressions, wherein each cavity is having an air valve for introducing a shock absorbing material, such as gas, liquid, or a combination thereof into that cavity. Each air valve has means in it for automatically bleeding off a portion of the shock absorbing material introduced into the cavity once the pressure of that material reaches a predetermined level.

The aforesaid documents and other similar solutions may strive to provide an adaptive sole that can be used with numerous sports activity; however, they still have a number of limitations and shortcomings such as, but not limited to, the material selected for constructing the sole of the shoe, such as rubber, a conduit, a shock absorbing means, mechanical, or magnetic gearing, air- fans, turbines, swivel means inside the sole member that makes the complex arrangement while integrating all the assemblies. These arrangements, however, often cause instability in the shoe designs cause the foot to have to pronate much more and at a greater degree of discomfort than normal, which in turn can lead to various anxiety and injuries during the foot activity or other related activities. The above mentioned prior arts can only perform certain aspects say for example, provides an adaptive sole by a means of compoundly organized elements such as air fans, turbines, valves with the sole cushion material. Accordingly, there remains a need in the prior art to have an improved sole assembly, for proficient level of comfort to the foot of the user which also enables the user, having a suitable sole according to the activity of the feet of the user, therefore overcome the aforesaid problem and shortcomings.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In the view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of multipurpose sole having air circulation means now present in the prior art, the present invention provides an improved adaptive sole according to the user need. As such, the general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a new and improved tread adaptive sole that actuates the suitable air pressure inside the sole member according to the foot pressure of the user while performing the related task, which has all the advantages of the prior art and none of the disadvantages.

An object of the invention is to provide a tread adaptive sole, i.e. having a plurality of contour bars in the midsole layer of the sole member with an air pooling means between the insole and outsole. Further, the plurality of contour bars makes a primary cavity for the air pooling means. It is another object of the present invention to provide the tread adaptive sole, i.e. having an air regulating means, which is used for passing the air inside the cavities at the midsole layer.

It is another object of the present invention to provide the tread adaptive sole in which the toe section and heel section are made of the material selected from a group of rubber material, resilient material, polyurethane, or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds and a combination thereof, although other suitable material can also be used by the producer.

It is another object of the present invention to provide at least one air regulating means that connects the cavities each other inside the midsole and provides the air while the pressure, applied from the foot of the user.

It is another object of the present invention to provide the tread adaptive sole in which the air circulates uniformly, substantially according to the requirement of the feet activity of the user using a simple arrangement.

It is another object of the present invention to provide the tread adaptive sole that facilitates with transversely adjustment of the primary cavity and the secondary cavity for air regulating inside the sole member in the midsole layer by the foot activity of the user. In this respect, before explaining at least one embodiment of the invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of construction and to the arrangements of the components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The invention is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced and carried out in various ways. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein are for the purpose of description and should not be regarded as limiting.

These together with other objects of the invention, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the invention, are pointed out with particularity in the disclosure. For a better understanding of the invention, its operating advantages and the specific objects attained by its uses, reference should be had to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there are illustrated preferred embodiments of the invention.

The invention will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a tread adaptive sole in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.

Figure 2 shows a midsole view of the tread adaptive in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In the following detailed description, reference is made to the accompanying drawings which form a part hereof, and in which is shown by way of illustration specific embodiments in which the invention may be practiced. These embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the invention, and it is to be understood that the embodiments may be combined, or that other embodiments may be utilized and that structural and logical changes may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. The following detailed description is, therefore, not to be taken in a limiting sense, and the scope of the present invention is defined by the appended claims and their equivalents. The present invention generally provides a tread adaptive sole (100), comprising: a sole member (135) having a plurality of layers, an insole layer (150), a midsole layer (145), and an outsole layer (140). A plurality of contour bars (105), making a primary cavity with a perpendicular base in the plurality of layers in order to exert the air pressure from a plurality of foot activities of a user via at least one air regulating means (1 10) between each of the layers, a secondary cavity (1 15) adapted to cover a remaining space inside the midsole layer (145) and between the insole layer (150) and the outsole layer (140).

Referring now to the drawings, there is illustrated, in FIG. 1 , a perspective view of the tread adaptive sole (100) of the shoe utilized in this embodiment, a sole member (135) having a plurality of layers, and further the plurality of layers is divided into a plurality of sections, extending vertically from a top portion to a bottom portion.

In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of layers is divided into an insole layer (150), a midsole layer (145), and an outsole layer (140), and extending vertically from the top portion to the bottom portion and these layers is further divided into the plurality of sections, i.e. divided into a heel section (120), a medial section (130) and a toe section (125). The plurality of contour bars (105) that makes a primary cavity with a perpendicular base in the heel section (120) and the toe section (125) of the midsole layer (145), i.e. horizontally layout between the plurality of layers in order to exert the air pressure from a plurality of foot activities of a user via at least one air regulating means (1 10) between each of the layer. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of contour bars (105) makes the primary cavity with the perpendicular base in the midsole layer (145) in order to exert the air pressure from the various foot activities of the user via the air regulating means (1 10) between the insole layer (150) and the outsole layer (150). The remaining space in the heel section (120) and the toe section (125) is adapted for a secondary cavity (1 15) inside the midsole layer and placed horizontally between the insole layer (150) and the outsole layer (140). Further, the plurality of contour bars (105) is configured to propel the air into the secondary cavity (1 15) via the air regulating means (1 10) according to the plurality of foot activities of the user on receiving the related foot pressure;

Referring to FIG. 2, the sole member is having an air regulating means (1 10), i.e. adapted to connect and regulate the air level inside the primary cavity and the secondary cavity (1 15). The air regulating means (1 10) is placed, but not limited to, at the outermost side of the midsole layer (145) for receiving the air while the air regulates for the primary cavity and further, the air regulating means (1 10) adapted to place between each of the cavities for making an air regulating connection inside the midsole layer (145) and each of the air regulating means (1 10) adapted to place between each of the cavity for making an air regulating connection inside the midsole layer (145).

In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of contour bars (105) is positioned longitudinally adjacent to, and substantially coplanar with the secondary cavity (1 15) in the heel section (120) and the toe section (125) of the sole member (135). The air regulating means (1 10) is facilitated with transversely adjustment between the primary cavity and the secondary cavity (1 15) for air regulating inside the sole member (135) in the midsole layer by the foot activity of the user.

In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the heel section (120) and the toe section (125) of the midsole layer (145) are constructed from the material selected from a group of rubber material, resilient material, polyurethane, or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds, an elastomeric compound and a combination thereof, although other suitable material can also be used by the producer. Further, the sole member (135), on the sensing of a plurality of foot activities by a user creates associated air level inside the midsole layer (145) at the heel section (120) and the toe section (125) between the insole layer (150) and the outsole layer (140) by the foot pressure of the user. The plurality of foot activities includes running, walking, jumping, and playing an outdoor sport and the like activities by the user.

In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the medial section (130) of the outsole layer (140) is constructed from a rigid elastic rubber and the like material, although other suitable material can also be used by the producer. While the heel section (120) and the toe section (125) is subjected to deflate the air level, the air regulating means (1 10) is used to release the air from inside the sole member. The air regulating means (1 10) is an air level regulating valve, i.e. further, categorized as a pressure responsive valve, actuating from the foot activity of the user.

In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the air regulating means (1 10) is an air connecting element between the primary cavity and secondary cavity (1 15) at the midsole layer (145). The air pressure is determined by the need of the pliability and stiffness of the sole member (135) inside the primary cavity and the secondary cavity (1 15) of the midsole layer (145) at the heel section (120) and the toe section (125) of the user. The air regulating means (1 10) regulates the air uniformly inside the midsole layer (145) according to the foot activity of the user.

The above-mentioned tread adapting sole allows the user to be worn a footwear such as an athletic shoe that eliminates the need to change the footwear with distinct foot activities says for example walking, running, jumping, particular need of any sport shoe while playing the related sport and the like which remain organized the user in one place about their shoes so that they do not appear cluttered with a number of shoes in their shoe storage means. The size, shape, structure and other related dimension of the sole member can be manufactured as per the requirement of the user without losing the utility of the invention. In addition, the present invention preserves the use of one sole for various activities, organizes them so that they do not become cluttered, and entices children and adults to use more of the necessary footwear that are designed to maintain proper health of their feet without any infuriating design. The present invention also provides adequate ventilation for the feet of the user and to deter growth of microorganisms inside the footwear. It is to be understood that the above description is intended to be illustrative, and not restrictive. For example, the above-discussed embodiments may be used in combination with each other. Many other embodiments will be apparent to those of skill in the art upon reviewing the above description.

The benefits and advantages which may be provided by the present invention have been described above with regard to specific embodiments. These benefits and advantages, and any elements or limitations that may cause them to occur or to become more pronounced are not to be construed as critical, required, or essential features of any or all of the embodiments.

While the present invention has been described with reference to particular embodiments, it should be understood that the embodiments are illustrative and that the scope of the invention is not limited to these embodiments. Many variations, modifications, additions and improvements to the embodiments described above are possible. It is contemplated that these variations, modifications, additions and improvements fall within the scope of the invention.
