Abstract:
A treated material stirring apparatus, comprising a casing (1) having an inlet (13) and an outlet (12) for treated material (A), a screw type stirring member (2) disposed in the casing extendedly in longitudinal direction, and a drive mechanism (3) for rotating the stirring member (2) in the casing, wherein the stirring member (2) repeats, as specified, the rotation in the direction reverse to a forward direction to move forward, while stirring, the treated material (A) in the casing (1), whereby the residence time of the treated material (A) can be set arbitrarily by the combination of the rotations of the stirring member (2) in the forward and reverse directions, and the effect of stirring of the treated material (A) can be set arbitrarily by the rotating speed of the stirring member (2).
