Abstract:
A treatment instrument comprising: a treatment member for treating biological tissue; a sheath 6 at a tip end of which the treatment member is provided; first and second drive members 101, CA1, CA2 each of which is inserted in the sheath 6 and drives the treatment member; and a holding member 11 that is inserted in the sheath 6 and holds the first and second drive members 101, CA1, CA2. The holding member 11 includes: a recessed groove 113 which extends from a tip end of the holding member 11 to a base end of the holding member 11, and in which the first and second drive members 101, CA1, CA2 are inserted; and an interposed part 112 that is provided in the recessed groove 113, and is disposed between the first and second drive members 101, CA1, CA2 in a cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the recessed groove 113.
