Abstract:

In order to easily cut off a lesioned part even when the lesioned part is disposed in a direction that crosses the longitudinal axis of a sheath, this treatment tool (1) for an endoscope is provided with: a long tubular insertion part (2); snare wire parts (9a, 9b) which are folded and retractably inserted in the longitudinal direction into the insertion part, and which comprise a twisted wire that is pushed out from the distal end opening of the insertion part and widens in a loop shape in front of the insertion part; first and second operating wire parts (10, 11) connected respectively to one end and the other end of the snare wire parts; and a stopper (5) which is fixed inside the insertion part further toward the distal end side than a movable body (12) attached to the first operating wire part, and through which the first and a second operating wire parts movably pass and the base end side of the stopper is butted by the movable part. The stopper is disposed in a position where the stopper is butted by the movable part at a position where the one end side of the snare wire part is forced to protrude from the distal end of the insertion part by a length at which the twisting of the one end of the snare wire part is forced to deform in the untwisting direction, due to a pressing force received from the other end of the snare wire part.
