Abstract:
This aims to eliminate a trouble that the eccentric attachment of a pile holder is accidentally folded, while keeping an advantage that a force for holding a root pile can be intensified by causing both a resisting force against the pulling out of a pile and a transverse pressure resistance to the root pile to act. Provided is a tree supporting method, in which a pile is driven into the ground along the side face of the root pile of a tree. A pile holder including a holding portion for holding the pile and a plate-shaped eccentric attachment protruded from the holding portion to a position eccentric to the outer side from the axial center portion of the pile is attached to the pile so that the pile holder may be held by the holding portion. A tension transmission member is disposed obliquely downward so that the tension transmission member may extend from the shoulder portion of the root pile to the eccentric attachment of the pile holder. A transverse pressure resisting member for applying a transverse pressure resistance to the root pile is disposed on the inner side of the holding portion of the pile holder. A latching belt is tensed on the upper face of the root pile. The latching belt is attached to the tension transmission member so that the tension to occur in the latching belt may be transmitted from the root portion side of the tension transmission member disposed on the shoulder portion side of the root pile to the eccentric attachment of the pile holder, thereby to support the tree. The tree supporting method is characterized in that a pair of erecting levers are attached to the eccentric attachment of the pile holder from the two side portions of the transverse pressure resisting member.
