Abstract:
The present disclosure is concerned with triazolophthalazine compounds that are capable of inhibiting infection by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) by inhibiting HIV Vif-dependent degradation of the APOBEC3 innate immune system. The present disclosure is also concerned with methods of using these compounds for the treatment of an HIV infection and control of viral loads in patients infected with HIV and in AIDS. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.
