Abstract:
A nitrogenous tricyclic compound represented by general formula (I), a salt and a solvate thereof, and a solvate of a salt thereof, each inhibiting the production of an IgE antibody and being useful as a prophylactic and/or a therapeutic agent for allergic diseases, wherein R represents halogen, linear or branched C1-C10 alkyl which may be substituted by one or more halogen atoms, or phenyl or napthyl each of which may be substituted by 1 to 5 specified groups; Y represents hydrogen and Z represents hydrogen, hydroxy or a specified group, or alternatively Y and Z may be combined together to represent hydrazono or hydroximino each of which may be substituted by a specified group, or a specified group; and X1-X2 ~ C ~ X3 represents CH-N-C=C or N-C=C-N, provided that when it is N-C=C-N, then Y and Z are neither hydroximino nor oxygen.
