Abstract:

A trigger signal generation device outputs a trigger signal which activates an ID tag. The trigger signal generation device is disposed separated therefrom by a predetermined distance, and includes first and second trigger coils which each have predetermined magnetic field intensity distributions. Each of the first and second trigger coils has attenuation means which attenuates the intensity of the magnetic fields generated by the first and second trigger coils, respectively, to levels at which: at the side where the first and second trigger coils are disposed, causes an ID tag to detect the trigger IDs of the first and second trigger IDs, respectively, and at the opposite side of the side where the first and second trigger coils are disposed, causes the ID tag to not detect the trigger ID of the first trigger ID.
