Abstract:
Disclosed are novel triketone compounds, a method for producing those, and an excellent herbicide containing those. Specifically disclosed are triketone compound represented by the formula (I) below or salts thereof. (I) [In the formula, y is an integer of 1-6; A represents a five-membered or six-membered saturated heterocyclic group containing 1 or 2 hetero atoms selected from the group consisting of an oxygen atom and a sulfur atom, or the like; R1 represents a halogen; R2 represents an alkyl, a haloalkyl or the like; R3, R4, R6, R7 and R8 respectively represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl; R5 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl or a cycloalkyl; and Q represents a hydrogen atom or the like.]
