Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of applied organic and organo-element chemistry. Claimed are novel donor-acceptor oligomers of general formula (I), where n is a whole number from 1 to 5 and m is a whole number from 1 to 3, and a method of producing donor-acceptor oligomers, which consists in carrying out a Knoevenagel condensation reaction between a malononitrile and a ketone, which is selected from a family of compounds of general formula (II), where n and m have the above-mentioned values. The novel compounds are characterized in that they do not have alkyl groups, they are soluble in organic solvents, they have high thermal stability and they effectively absorb light in a range of from 400 to 800 nm. The method of producing these compounds is easy to implement.
