Abstract:
A homo- or copolymer having repeating units represented by formula (1) or (2) and a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 to 1,000,000, and an antifouling agent for aquatic foulings which contains the same. The antifouling agent significantly diminishes the adhesion of aquatic foulings and has an excellent antifouling effect. The triphenylboron-containing polymer functions not only as the active ingredient but as a binder. It less influences the environment.
