Abstract:
This tripod-type constant velocity universal joint of a double roller type is provided with a protruding section 40 in a region including both end sections in a direction perpendicular to the joint axial line O on a side further toward the axial end side than an inner ring 12 on an outer peripheral surface of a leg shaft 32 of a tripod member 3. The ratio T/ag1 of the dimension T of the protruding section 40 in the joint axial direction O to the long diameter ag1 of an inner ring-contact section of the outer peripheral surface of the leg shaft 32 is 0.3 or greater.
