Title:
TRPA1-ACTIVATING COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/129238
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To find a novel TRPA1-activating component and to provide a use of the TRPA1-activating component. [Solution] A TRPA1-activating composition of the present invention contains, as active ingredient(s), an acrylic acid and/or an unsaturated aldehyde which has 4-12 carbon atoms and a main chain that has a double bond at least at the 2-position or at the 4-position. In this connection, in cases where a double bond is only at the 2-position, the main chain has 4-9 carbon atoms, while in cases where a double bond is only at the 4-position, the main chain has 9-12 carbon atoms. The present invention also provides a functional food and a pharmaceutical product, each of which contains this composition.
