Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lightweight cellular material and a preparation method thereof, wherein a networked plane is woven by using a plurality of wires bent in one plane, a plurality of the woven networked planes are arranged in parallel up and down, and a plurality of straight wires are inserted in the networked planes arranged up and down from the direction outside the plane, and each straight wire is inserted to be fixed in such a way that one straight wire crosses with one crossing per plane, thereby forming a Kagome truss-like structure or a multilayer truss-like structure comprising a plurality of regular octahedrons and dodecahedrons (cuboctahedron or vector equilibrium). The structure of the present invention can remarkably increase the compressive strength and the strength of shearing force of a truss structure and is advantageous for mass production due to a simple manufacturing process.
