Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a helpless vehicle during a tsunami encounter with tsunami response shelter performance. [Solution] The present invention increases the waterproof qualities of the cabin of an ordinary vehicle by means of a hatch or the like using the production technologies for automobiles, ships such as submarines, and locks, and mounted are a detachment mechanism of the cabin and another component, a partition inside-outside power transmission mechanism that transmits the operations of an occupant to the outside of the cabin, and a draining mechanism provided with a check valve and a ventilation device. Normally, use is possible identically as with ordinary vehicles, and during a tsunami encounter, the upper portion of the cabin floats at the water surface and thus can contribute to the protection/rescue of lives. The production thereof is simple and low-cost. The occupants can further evacuate through the hatch or the like mounted at the cabin ceiling, air sacs such as airbags are affixed or releasably mounted to the outer periphery of the cabin and are filled with gas during a tsunami encounter, resulting in increased buoyancy of the cabin and mitigated impact shock with flotsam, and air sacs pinched between obstacles can be released to free the cabin.
