A tube with inner surface grooves, characterized in that a number of micro grooves (10) in parallel with an inner surface are formed spirally in the inner surface and the grooves (10) are formed in a shape of W (width along the axial direction of the tube) relative to H (depth) is 1 to 2, the helix angle of the grooves (10) relative to a tube axis being desirable if it is 26 to 35?; a method of manufacturing the tube with inner surface grooves, comprising the steps of inserting a grooved plug (2) having a number of micro grooves (20) formed spirally on the outer peripheral surface thereof rotatably into a raw tube (1a), and pressing the raw tube (1a) against the peripheral surface of the grooved plug (2) at the inserting position of the grooved plug (2) by several balls (3) revolving, while rotating, around the outer periphery of the raw pipe (1a) while the raw tube (1a) is extracted in one longitudinal direction thereof, characterized in that the number of the balls (3) is 2 to 3.
