Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tube composed of polytetrafluoroethylene and addresses the problem of providing a tube that has adequate tensile strength and flexibility and excellent internal penetrability. This problem can be solved by the tube composed of polytetrafluoroethylene in the present invention, wherein when the surface shape of the inner surface of the tube is measured with the measurement direction being parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tube, and the measurement is performed in the forward direction and the opposite direction, the rate of variability between the size of a periodic level difference when measured in a forward direction and the size of the periodic level difference when measured in the opposite direction is 5% or more.
