Abstract:
This method of assembling a tubular electric drive actuator (2), for a home-automation screen comprises steps consisting in: a) making, on the periphery of a first end (63A) of a reduction gear (6) directed towards it output shaft (61), at least one first relief (65) such that this end does not have a circular cross section; b) constructing, outside the tube, an assembly (E) comprising, in this order, at least the reduction gear (6), an electric motor (5), a control unit (7) and at least one part (82) of an interface head, by rotationally securing each of the elements of this assembly with each adjacent element; c) introducing (F0), into the tube (4) and through a second end (42), the assembly (E) constructed in step c), commencing with the reduction gear (6), until the output shaft (61) of the reduction gear overhangs from a first end (41) of the tube; d) rotationally securing the reduction gear (6) and the tube by a second relief (47) made at the first end (41) of the tube (4) and such that this end does not have a circular cross section, so that the second relief (47) engages with the first relief (65). The tubular electric actuator is characterized in that the first end (41) of the tube has a non-circular cross section whereas and engaged with the first end (63A) of the reduction gear (6) having a non-circular cross section, the tube and the reduction gear are secured in rotation about a winding axis of the screen, at their first respective ends (41, 63A).
