Abstract:
Provided are a tubular member washing device and a tubular member washing method by which it is possible to effectively eliminate foreign matter attached to a tubular member such as a steel tube. In this disclosure, a tubular member washing device 100 that washes a tubular member 70 that moves in the axial direction is characterized by comprising: a bobbin 2 on which an elongated wiping medium 50 is wound and accommodated; a wiping medium fixing section 4 on which one end of the wiping medium 50 in the lengthwise direction is fixed; and a bobbin moving means 9 that moves the bobbin 2 on a trajectory T along the outer peripheral surface of the tubular member 70, such movement being on the radial outer side of the tubular member 70.
