Abstract:
A tubular switch which is normally off, instantaneously turned on by an external pressure, and has a long detecting distance. The switch comprises a hose member (11) having an insulating property and an elasticity and a plurality of flexible conductive members (12) which are spirally fixed to the internal surface of the member (11) so that the surfaces of the members (12) can be exposed partially to the internal space of the member (11) over the whole cross sections of the member (11). The switch has durability, a simple structure, and flexibility, can be installed to any place,and has a long detecting range. In addition, the fault of the switch is easily found, repaired, and adjusted and the switch is manufactured at a low cost.
