Abstract:
A tuner device that exhibits reduced drop in interference resistance, processing speed, and other performance. The tuner device (300) is provided with: a tuner IC (800) for generating and outputting an intermediate-frequency signal upon receipt of a broadcast wave via an antenna (990); a video/audio processing circuit (130) for outputting a video/audio signal by demodulating and decoding the intermediate-frequency signal output from the tuner IC (800); and a CPU (120) connected to the tuner IC (800) and the video/audio processing circuit (130) via a bus. The tuner IC (800) is provided with an AGC detection part (811). When the tuner IC (800) is not outputting the intermediate-frequency signal, the CPU (120) switches a clock frequency, which is for controlling the tuner IC (800) and the video/audio processing circuit (130) via the bus, to a first frequency. When the tuner IC (800) is outputting the intermediate-frequency signal, the CPU (120) switches the clock signal to a frequency lower than the first frequency.
