Abstract:
The present invention provides an electrolytic capacitor which uses, as a positive electrode body thereof, a sintered body that is obtained by sintering a tungsten powder which contains elemental zirconium and/or elemental hafnium so that the content of one of these elements, which is contained in a larger amount, is 0.04-1% by mass and the element is localized in the surface layers of tungsten particles. An electrolytic capacitor according to the present invention has a large capacity and good LC characteristics, while being suppressed in capacity variation.
