Abstract:
A tunnel excavation apparatus (1) comprises a body (10), a frame (15), and a work stand (16). The body (10) has a front barrel part (11) and a rear barrel part (12). The front barrel part (11) has a cutter head (21) provided with a plurality of disc cutters (83). The rear barrel part (12) includes a gripper part (90) for obtaining reaction force during performance of excavation, and is positioned behind the front barrel part (11). The frame (15) is positioned behind the body (10) and is continuous with the body (10). The work stand (16) is positioned on the upper side of the frame (15) and is capable of rotating relative to the frame (15).
