Abstract:
In this turbine building and nuclear power plant, a turbine accommodation part (111) in which a steam turbine (19) is accommodated and a highly earthquake resistant part (112) that is in the vicinity of the turbine accommodation part (111) and is more earthquake resistant than the turbine accommodation part (111) are established. The internal spaces of the turbine accommodation part (111) and the highly earthquake resistant part (112) are in communication with each other, and the turbine accommodation part (111) and the earthquake resistant part (112) are independent structures. As a result, it is possible to suppress the increase of construction costs while maintaining a high level of safety.
