Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for converting the kinetic energy of a flowing gaseous or liquid medium (1) into kinetic rotational energy of a body (3) that can be rotated about a rotational axis (2), wherein the rotational axis (2) is designed in the form of an individual pin or in the form of two pins (31, 35) that are spaced from each other and parallel to each other and wherein the rotatable body (3) comprises one or more endless-band-shaped carriers or one or more carriers (4) spaced from each other, on which or between which two or more blades (15) are provided, wherein each blade (15) comprises one or more combinations of a pin (6) and a flap (5) pivotably attached thereto, wherein the pins (6) of the blades (15) are oriented perpendicularly or parallel to the side (32) of the one or more carriers (4) that faces the blades, wherein the pins (6) of the blades (15) are arranged on the one or more carriers (4) in such a way that the flaps (5) of each pin (6) fly out about the pin (6) thereof during the return travel (33) of said flaps and that at least during a part of the working travel (34) the free end (9) of each flap (5) of a pin (6) is directly or indirectly non-positively and/or positively fitted with the carrier (4) so that the rotatable body (3) rotates about the one-piece (2) or multi-piece (31, 35) rotational axis in the event of a flow (1) acting on said body.
