Abstract:

A scroll part of a turbine housing is configured such that a concave distribution is included in at least part of a first graph of which the horizontal axis is an angular position θ in the circumferential direction of the scroll part and the vertical axis is the ratio A/R of a flow channel cross-sectional area A relative to a distance R, where A is the flow channel cross-sectional area of the scroll part, and R is the distance from the center of a flow channel cross section of the scroll part to an axis of rotation of a turbine rotor blade. The scroll part has a first sectioned part associated with a first angular range in the circumferential direction, and a second sectioned part that is associated with a second angular range downstream from the first angular range in the circumferential direction and that has a slot width smaller than the slot width of the first sectioned part in the axial direction of the turbine rotor blade.
