Abstract:
The present invention relates to a turbo compressor comprising: a compressed gas suction port for sucking a gas; an impeller which compresses the gas introduced through the compressed gas suction port; a compressed gas discharge port through which the gas compressed by the impeller is discharged to outside; a compression unit comprising a compressed gas flow path connected from the compressed gas suction port to the compressed gas discharge port; a motor comprising a rotating shaft, of which one end portion is coupled to the impeller, in order to rotate the impeller; a housing provided with a motor accommodation space for accommodating the motor; a cooling air channel which is provided to pass through the motor accommodation space and is formed so that a cooling gas accommodated therein can flow; a cooling channel which is formed so that a cooling liquid for cooling the housing can flow therethrough; and a thrust bearing which is arranged at one end portion of the rotating shaft, wherein the cooling channel comprises a bearing cooling channel which is arranged within a preset distance from the thrust bearing so as to cool the thrust bearing. According to the present invention, there is an effect of rapidly cooling the cooling gas accommodated in a front air channel that is adjacent to the bearing cooling channel, and the thrust bearing supporting the rotating shaft.
