Abstract:
In this turbo pump for supplying a fluid under pressure to a downstream side of a suction passage (32) by rotating an impeller (34) provided in the suction passage (32), in order to improve the pressurized supply performance of the fluid during an oversupply operation in which a consumption flow rate on the downstream side is less than a fluid pressurized supply performance of the impeller: an orifice hole (36a) that reduces an inner diameter of the suction passage (32) while forming a reverse surface (40) facing the downstream side is provided in a part of the suction passage (32) positioned on the upstream side of the impeller (34); and the reverse surface (40) is provided with reverse separating wall portions (42) for restricting the flow of the fluid in a circumferential direction.
