Abstract:
A turbo-supercharger according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a turbine housing which has contained therein a turbine wheel rotationally driven by exhaust gas; a bearing housing which is provided adjacent to the turbine housing and which contains a rotating shaft to which the turbine wheel is mounted; and a waste gate section having a bypass passage which allows the exhaust gas to bypass the turbine wheel, and having a valve body which can regulate the flow rate of the exhaust gas flowing through the bypass passage. The turbine housing has a scroll passage formed therein by casting, the scroll passage being located at least radially outside the turbine wheel and supplying the exhaust gas to the turbine wheel. A fastening section which fastens the turbine housing and the bearing housing together is provided radially outside the scroll passage.
