Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a turbocharger that is capable of improving turbine efficiency and effectively changing an inflow area of an exhaust gas flowing into a turbine nozzle in accordance with an engine load, the turbine nozzle, and a ship. At a turbine nozzle (25), multiple outer peripheral vane sections (44) are provided at intervals in the circumferential direction between an outer periphery-side member (25b) and a partition member (42), and multiple inner peripheral vane sections (45) are provided at intervals in the circumferential direction between an inner periphery-side member (25a) and the partition member (42). In addition, the rear edge parts (45b) of the inner peripheral vane sections (45) on the downstream side in the flow direction of an exhaust gas are formed so as to be positioned more upstream in the exhaust gas flow direction than the rear edge parts (44b) of the outer peripheral vane sections (44). Consequently, the throat width (S1) between adjoining inner peripheral vane sections (45, 45) in the circumferential direction of the turbine nozzle (25) is set larger than the throat width (S2) between adjoining outer peripheral vane sections (44, 44) in the circumferential direction.
