Abstract:
A turbocharger (1) comprises: a rolling bearing (5) provided with a plurality of rolling bodies (52) arranged between a raceway ring (53) formed on an inner ring (50) and a raceway ring (54) formed on an outer ring (51); and a housing (6) for holding the outer ring (51). The housing (6) is provided with: a first dam (68A) for restricting the outflow of a lubricant through a first discharge passage for discharging the lubricant from the outer ring (51); and a second dam (69) for restricting the outflow of the lubricant through a second discharge passage for discharging the lubricant from an opening (67) formed so as to be in communication with the axially intermediate portion of the outer ring (51) and with the peripheral wall of a receiving section (61).
