Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a turbofan with which it is possible to reduce noise. A turbofan (1) comprises a plurality of blades (4), each having a thick section (10), a thin section (11), and a stepped section (12). The thick sections (10) are parts formed on the front edge (8) side, and have a thick plate thickness. The thin sections (11) are parts provided closer to the rear edge (9) side than the thick sections (10), and have a thinner plate thickness than the thick sections (10). The stepped sections (12) are parts provided between the thick sections (10) and the thin sections (11), and have a plate thickness that decreases to the positive pressure surface side in the direction from the thick section (10) side toward the thin section (11) side. In a cross–sectional view perpendicular to the rotational axis (Ax) of the blades (4), an arcuate second curved surface (111) forming a negative pressure surface of the thin sections (11) is positioned on the positive pressure surface side with respect to an arcuate first curved surface (101) forming a negative pressure surface of the thick sections (10), and the first curved surface (101) and the second curved surface (111) are connected by a negative pressure surface (121) of the stepped sections (12).
