Abstract:
This turning angle detection device comprises: a magnet for generating magnetic flux, which is provided to a rotary shaft of a rotor and which rotates together with the rotary shaft; and a magnetic sensor provided some distance away from the magnet, for detecting linked flux. The turning angle detection device also has a magnet magnetic flux detection circuit for detecting magnet magnetic flux generated by the magnet, a magnetic flux disturbance detection circuit for detecting magnetic flux disturbance, i.e., magnetic flux excluding the magnet magnetic flux, that is linked to the magnetic sensor, and a correction circuit for correcting the detected results by the magnetic sensor, on the basis of the detected results by the magnet magnetic flux detection circuit and the detected results by the magnetic flux disturbance detection circuit.
