Abstract:
This turret tool post (1) is characterized by comprising a locking means (30) including a turret (10) side engaging element (30a) and a supporting platform (2) side engaging element (30b), a clutch member (C) which transmits a driving force to a turret drive unit (20), and a movement mechanism (40), wherein the movement mechanism (40) comprises: a drive shaft (41) supported with freedom to be driven in rotation; a first feed screw mechanism (42) and a second feed screw mechanism (44) which rotate in accordance with the rotational drive of the drive shaft (41) and move the clutch member (C) and the engaging elements (30a, 30b); and a linking mechanism (21) which is formed between the drive shaft (41) and either the first feed screw mechanism (42) or the second feed screw mechanism (44) and which moves the engaging elements (30a, 30b) with a feed amount that is smaller than a feed amount of the clutch member (C) with respect to the rotational drive of the drive shaft (41).
