Abstract:
A turret-type cutting tool holder capable of indexing a tool shank of a rotary tool at a desired angle, the turret-type cutting tool holder comprising: a turret head member that is incorporated rotatably in a turret body and rotates by a turret head turning motor; a tool shank housing member that is incorporated rotatably in the turret head member; a tool shank rotary member that is incorporated rotatably in the tool shank housing member and rotates by a tool shank rotary motor; a coupling member that causes the turret body and turret head member to switch between a coupled state and a coupling released state; and a clutch member that causes the turret head member and tool shank housing member or the tool shank housing member and tool shank rotary member to switch between a coupled state and a coupling released state.
