Abstract:
A TV lift mechanism (100), comprising at least two set of driving unit (106) for controlling consistency of the electric power supplied to electric motors (12) to drive screw bars (8) and a TV fixed plate (4) to move smoothly and precisely. It also reduces unsmooth movement and vibration during the movement. The whole structure is smaller as well as the reduction of the size of the rail and production costs.

Claims

1. A TV lift mechanism (100), comprising:

- a main frame (102) comprising two rear frames (1) and two side frames (2) wherein the first rear frame (1) is attached to an upper part of the two side frames (2) and the second rear frame (1) is attached to a lower part of the two side frames (2);

- a rail (6) is provided on an inner part of the two side frames (2) having a sliding device (7) provided on the rail (6) in which the sliding device (7) is movable on the rail (6) and fixed to a TV fixed plate (4);

- the TV fixed plate (4) is fixed to the sliding device (7) for supporting the TV; characterized in that the TV lift mechanism (100) further comprising at least two driving units (106) and a control unit (13), wherein the driving unit (106), comprising:

an electric motor (12) having a motor shaft (12a) for coupling with a screw bar (8) and a vibration absorber (11) is provided between the motor shaft (12a) and the screw bar (8);

- the screw bar (8) wherein one end of the screw bar (8) coupled with the motor shaft (12a) and another end attached to the first rear frame (1) and covered by a sliding support plate (9) in which the sliding supporting plate (9) is attached to the TV fixed plate (4);

wherein when the motor shaft (12a) is rotated resulting in rotating the screw bar (8), the sliding supporting plate (9) is moved up or down driving the TV fixed plate (4) according the rotation direction of the electric motor (12);

- the control unit (13) comprising a key pad (14) having three working modes and connected between the driving units (106) for controlling consistency of the electric power supplying to each electric motor (12).

2. The TV lift mechanism (100) according to claim 1, wherein the control unit (13) comprising electronic circuit and electric connecting point to outsource power supply.

The TV lift mechanism (100) according to claim 1, wherein the keypad (14) comprising three operating modes, including moving up-mode, off-mode, and moving-down mode, in which when the key pad (14) is in off-mode, the control unit (13) stops supplying electric power to the motor (12) and for the moving-up mode, the control unit (13) supplies electric power to the motor (12) resulting in rotating of the motor shaft (12a) and when the keypad (14) is in moving-down mode, the control unit (13) supplies electric power to the motor (12) resulting in rotating of the motor shaft (12a) in opposite direction to the moving-up mode.

4. The TV lift mechanism (100) according to claim 1, wherein the screw bar (8) of each driving unit (106) is parallel to each other.

5. The TV lift mechanism (100) according to claim 1, wherein the screw bar (8) and the sliding supporting plate (9) is feed screw or ball screw.

6. The TV lift mechanism (100) according to claim 1, wherein the electric motor (12) is servo motor or stepping motor.

Description:
TITLE OF THE INVENTION

A TV LIFT MECHANISM

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering. BACKGROUND ART

Most of the conventional TV lift mechanism uses a sling, a timing belt or a screw as a mechanism for moving a TV fixed plate up or down. The TV fixed plate is attached to the sling, the timing belt or the screw. Only one electric motor is used for driving the TV lift mechanism. The direction of moving the TV fixed plate depends on the direction of rotating of the electric motor. Such a system is driven by only one electric motor, therefore, it requires a high quality of rail set for control accuracy and smoothness of the moving of the TV fixed plate.

Therefore, there is a disadvantage in which the high quality of rail set is expensive. In case of lifting larger size of the TV, it is also required large structure of the TV lift mechanism as well as larger size of the rail set in order to increase the strength, precision and smoothness of movement as much as possible without causing jamming of the mechanism during use. Therefore, there is a limitation in size and efficiency of applications, including production costs.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a TV lift mechanism comprising at least two sets of driving units and a control unit for controlling operation of electric motor of each driving unit operating together precisely. It can reduce using high quality of rail set which is expensive in order to control the precision of the operation of the motors.

An objective of the invention is to reduce workload of the motor by using at least two electric motors and comprising a control unit for controlling accuracy and smoothness of the movement of each parts of the TV lift mechanism. The size of the mechanism is decrease as well as the required size and quality of the rail set which is expensive is also decreased. The production cost is also reduced. Fig. 1 shows a TV lift mechanism comprising at least two sets of driving units.

Fig. 3 shows a rear view of the TV lift mechanism comprising at least two sets of driving units.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

As required, detailed embodiments of the present invention are disclosed herein; however, it is to be understood that the disclosed embodiments are merely exemplary of the invention, which may be embodied in various forms. Therefore, specific structural and functional details disclosed herein are not to be interpreted as limiting but merely as a basis for claims. It should be understood that the drawings and detailed description thereto are not intended to limit the invention to the particular form disclosed, but on the contrary, the invention is to cover all modification, equivalents and alternatives falling within the scope of the present invention as defined by the appended claims. As used throughout this application, the word "may" is used in a permissive sense (i.e., meaning having the potential to), rather than the mandatory sense (i.e., meaning must). Similarly, the words "include," "including," and "includes" mean including, but not limited to. Further, the words "a" or "an" mean "at least one" and the word "plurality" means one or more, unless otherwise mentioned. Where the abbreviations of technical terms are used, these indicate the commonly accepted meanings as known in the technical field. For ease of reference, common reference numerals will be used throughout the figures when referring to the same or similar features common to the figures. The present invention will now be described with reference to Figs. 1-3.

A TV lift mechanism (100) comprises a main frame (102) for supporting other components of the TV lifting mechanism (100). The main frame (102) comprises two rear frames (1) and two side frames (2) wherein the first rear frame (1) is attached to an upper part of the two side frames (2) and the second rear frame (1) is attached to a lower part of the two side frames (2) by screw fastening means. A rail (6) is provided on an inner part of the two side frames (2) having a sliding device (7) provided on the rail (6) in which the sliding device (7) is movable on the rail (6) and fixed to a TV fixed plate (4). The sliding device (7) is movable together with the TV fixing plate (4).

As shown in Fig. 3, the TV fixed plate (4) is fixed to the sliding device (7) for supporting the television. A sliding supporting plate (9) covers a screw bar (8) and is attached to the TV fixed plate (4). A holder (5) for vibration reduction is provided between the sliding supporting plate (9) and the TV fixed plate (4) to reduce vibration during movement. Therefore, the TV fixed plate (4) is movable together with the sliding supporting plate (9). As shown in Fig. 1, both ends of the TV fixed plate (4) are attached to the sliding device (7).

As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the TV lift mechanism (100) further comprises at least two sets of driving unit (106), wherein the driving unit (106), comprising:

An electric motor (12) has a motor shaft (12a) for coupling with the screw bar (8) and having a vibration absorber (11) provided between the motor shaft (12a) and the screw bar (8). The electric motor (12) is attached to the second rear frames (1). One end of the vibration absorber (11) is attached to the electric motor (12) and another end of the vibration absorber (11) is attached to the screw bar (8) wherein when the motor shaft (12a) is rotated, the screw bar (8) is also rotated.

One end of the screw bar (8) is coupled with the motor shaft (12a) and attached to the second rear frame (1) by a bracket (3) as shown in Fig. 2.

Another end of the screw bar (8) is covered by a bearing (10) and attached to the first rear frame (1) by the bracket (3).

In addition, the sliding supporting plate (9) is covered the screw bar (8) in which the sliding supporting plate (9) is attached to the TV fixed plate (4). The sliding plate (9) is movable up and down according to the direction of the rotation of the screw bar (8).

The TV lift mechanism (100) further comprises control unit (13). The control unit (13) comprises electronic circuit and a key pad (14) wherein the keypad (14) comprising three operating modes, including moving up-mode, off-mode, and moving-down mode. The control unit (13) is connecting with both sets of the driving unit (106) for controlling the consistency of electric power supplying to the motor (12).

The control unit (13) is provided outside the main frame (102). There is an electric power connection point between the control unit (13) and the motor (12) through electric wire, between the control unit (13) and the key pad (14) as well as between the control unit (13) and outsource electric power supplier.

In use, when an electric power is supplied to the control unit (13) and when the key pad (14) is in moving-up mode, the control unit (13) supplies electric power to each motor (12) resulting in rotating of the motor shafts (12a) in the same and corresponding direction and the vibration absorber (11) which is attached to the screw bar (8) is also rotating. When the screw bar (8) is rotated, the sliding supporting plate (9) is elevated along the screw bar (8). The TV fixed plate (4) is attached to the supporting plate (9), also moving up along the screw bar (8).

When the key pad (14) is in moving-down mode, the control unit (13) will supply an electric power to the motor (12) resulting in rotating of the motor shafts (12a) in the opposite direction to the moving-up mode, therefore, the TV fixed plate (4) is moving down along the screw bar (8). When the key pad (14) is in off-mode, the control unit (13) stops supplying electric power to the motor (12), therefore, the screw bar (8) stops rotating, the sliding supporting plate (9) and the TV fixed plate (4) stops moving.
