Abstract:
A twin-wire paper machine is provided with a white water recovering means (20) for recovering white water (15) discharged to the opposite roll side upstream of a pressure element (30), thereby inhibiting the white water (15) discharged to the opposite roll side from interfering with the pressure element (30), thus preventing damage to the pressure element (30) due to the collision of the white water (15) during water discharge, and making it possible to produce paper with uniform fiber distribution having no paper defects.
