Abstract:
Provided is a twisted pair wire joint connector allowing for size reduction and high reliability. The joint connector comprises: a plurality of high-potential and low-potential wire terminals (10H, 10L); a plurality of sub-housings (20A,...), each corresponding to each of the twisted pair wires, holding the high-potential and low-potential wire terminals (10H, 10L); a main housing (30) accommodating the sub-housings (20A,...) in a layered state; high-potential and low-potential connection conductors (40H, 40L) establishing respectively a connection among the high-potential wire terminals (10H) and a connection among the low-potential electric wire terminals (10L) respectively; and a holding member (50) having a housing restraining portion (54) fitted into the main housing (30) so as cross over the sub-housings (20A,...). The housing restraining portion (54) restrains the portion of the sub-housings (20A,...) to be restrained in such a manner as to prevent the sub-housings (20A,...) from detaching in a direction that is opposite to the housing insertion direction.
