Abstract:
The present invention reduces the volume inside a crankcase and improves scavenging efficiency with a simple structure. When a piston 11 is bottom dead center, a crankcase first projection 20A in which the inner face of a crankcase 20 projects toward the interior and penetrates a cutout portion toward the interior is formed in a place corresponding to the cutout portion on the piston 11. Meanwhile, the crankcase 20 at a place that corresponds to a place in which the cutout portion is not formed on the piston 11 does not project toward the interior. The piston 11 can be reciprocally moved vertically without interfering with the crankcase 20 by way of assembling the piston 11 and the crankcase 20 of this form. In this case, the volume inside the crankcase 20 can be reduced by providing the crankcase first projection 20A.
