Abstract:
In the disclosed two-dimensional image detector, a heat-conducting plate (21) is provided on a base plate (7), end Peltier units (39) are provided for external-circuit use, and center Peltier units (29) are provided for an active matrix substrate (11) and a conversion layer (13), taking care of cooling and isothermalization respectively, thereby increasing isothermalization and cooling efficiency with a comparatively simple structure. Furthermore, external air brought in via an air intake (51) in a cover (5) efficiently passes through cooling fans (35 and 45) in the Peltier elements (33 and 43), thereby efficiently removing heat from said Peltier elements (33 and 43).
